Dunsden Community Orchard was founded in 2007 to provide an extension to Dunsden village green for the local community. Using a special planting scheme designed by Nick Marks, it contains more than four dozen apple, cherry, pear and plum trees. They range from the very earliest apple believed to have been known to the Romans, to more modern varieties with local connections. The orchard was inaugurated by Lord & Lady Phillimore with the planting of a Blenheim Orange apple on the village green.

Eye & Dunsden Parish Council are the owners of the site and provide support for the project.
